What a show today.

We can't ease into the new year.

We had a show on Friday too, so maybe that was our easing into the new year because we had plenty

to talk about today. So we did our gratitude Monday, of course, still did that. It was a great start.

Then we got into Venezuela, talked a lot about the Monroe Doctrine, the history of it,

went into as much admiring detail as we could about our military and the guys who pulled this off. It was just remarkable. And then we had two wonderful guests. So let's play our two Breitbart guests. We'll start with Francis Martel, our world editor. And then we'll go to Caleb Caruso, who is one of our Breitbart reporters, who is from Venezuela.

We'll start with Francis.

She's got a lot going on.

Kind of like to let the week get under her a little bit before we sheepishly ask with the great Francis Martel to join us. But Francis, I had, it's like a big story. I had to ask you to come on a Monday. So thank you for getting up for us today.

Oh, no, thank you for inviting me. I am obviously in party mode. I've been in party mode all weekend, working hard, partying hard. It's been a great weekend. I was so excited to get invited and to follow up the great Keogarruzzo, who's an amazing co-worker and, you know, someone who lived the Venezuela horror in the flesh. So thank you so much for inviting me. Well, it's my pleasure. All right, well, where's your head at? What do you make of this? This is the best geopolitical news maybe

of my lifetime. Like, I was around for the Berlin Wall, but, you know, I was like three, so I couldn't

really enjoy it. This is phenomenal. The one caveat that I would give is that Maduro has an inner circle of

socialists who are hardcore leftist oppressors, and they're all still there. And that worries me,

because Deli Rodriguez is far to the left of Nicolas Maduro, and she's the president of Venezuela now.

And there's other characters like Diozdao Cabello,

who is the head of the socialist party

and is the head of the real, like, operational head of the cartel of the sons.

He's still there.

Radimir Padino, the head of the military, he's still there.
