Welcome back to another episode of Every Square Inch as we continue our current series on masculinity.

I keep saying this, but thank you so much for all the encouraging feedback to this series in particular.

I was convinced that we needed to have this discussion on masculinity.

That's why I spent so much time researching and prepping for it.

But by the volume of feedback I'm getting, I think I even underestimated how important this conversation truly is. So anyway, thanks for all the encouragement. What we have done up until

this point is offer some important introductory qualifiers to the discussion.

Essentially, before saying what I want to say,

I wanted to make sure nobody hears what I do not intend to say.

So we started by first making clear that though there is an immutable difference

between male and female in God's created order, even still, male and

female share more in common than differences. And so we explored those commonalities at length

with the most significant being, of course, that male and female are equal as image bearers of God.

And then last week, I discussed that though male and female are different, we must be careful

not to overstate and exaggerate gender differences along the predictable divide of cultural gender stereotypes.
