It's a beautiful, calm evening on the island of Nevis.

Something rare at this time of year when the winds whip their way across the Atlantic,

a welcome reprieve from the heat, but often bringing with them the Sahara sands.

Everything becomes coated in a fine red powder when this happens, cars and leaves and swimming pools,

receiving a gentle dusting all the way from Africa.

And this calm evening is a much needed break from the relentless winds.

Catherine is sitting on the veranda with Sam.
