| 0:14.0 | I wanted to create this short little video on the relationship between your mid-back and your stress level. |

| 0:23.0 | There's something called the sympathetic nervous system. |
| 0:26.0 | The sympathetic nervous system is the flight or flight mechanism. |
| 0:30.0 | And when that's activated, you go through stress. |
| 0:33.0 | And the question is, where is it located in your body? |
| 0:36.0 | It's located in your middle back, from T1 to T12. |
| 0:41.0 | You have 12 vertebra in that area. |
| 0:44.0 | And along the side of the spine, you have these little nerves. |
| 0:47.0 | And that's what your sympathetic nervous system is. |
| 0:49.0 | The other location of the flight or flight mechanism is inside your adrenal. |
| 0:54.0 | That's for another video. |
| 0:56.0 | I just want to talk about the mid-back. |
| 0:58.0 | Because if you have stiffness and pain in your middle back or muscle spasm, |
| 1:04.0 | that's going to keep you in a bit of stress mode. |
| 1:07.0 | And if you're in stress mode, that has the ability to keep your back stiff and in pain. |
| 1:13.0 | Also, if you're getting the wrong foods, your digestive system can actually go into a spasm, |
| 1:18.0 | like bloating and cause back pain as well, and actually keep you in stress mode. |
