I think we have to really be careful that we don't put people into the kingdom of God,

but it is the work of the Holy Spirit to bring people to Jesus and to regenerate them

and to bring them to a place of conversion, a place where there's true repentance in the life of that person.

today in John chapter 3, verse 1. Nicodemus was talking with Jesus because he was a scholar

and he was talking about the new birth or the word regeneration. How can I be regenerated?

How can I be born again?

In chapter 3, verse 1, let's read it again to refresh our minds.

He says, there was a man a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

This man came to Jesus by night, and he said to him, Rabbi, teacher, we know that you are a teacher that comes from God. For no one can do these signs that you're doing unless God is with him. So Nicodima

saw that something was different in the life of Jesus from the other Pharisees

and the other religious leaders.

Jesus was the son of God.

He was God himself.

And then Jesus answered and said unto him, look, most assured I say unto you,

unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
