The first section of Psalms has been called the Genesis Psalms.

They help us to realize that every good thing begins with God.

The Psalms provide a roadmap for the journey ahead.

In them, we learn to bring every emotion and experience of

And so we've been studying Psalm 34, and we've seen David blessing the Lord at all times.

We've seen this repeated word how God delivers from all trouble and all fear and all afflictions.

And now you come to Psalm 35.

And Psalm 35 seems to continue that same thought, that same theme.

It's a prayer that God will break through.

Let's just read a little bit of it to you.

Psalm 35, beginning in verse number seven,

David cries out and he says, for without calls,

have they hid for me their net in a pit,

which without cause they've digged for my soul.

And let me just pause and make this application.

Live your life in such a way so that even when people persecute you, even when people criticize you, even when people do you

wrong, they will do it without cause. In other words, they won't do it because of some evil in you.

Don't ever let it be that someone is simply lashing out of you

because you've lashed out at them. No, no. Live your life above reproach, a blameless life.
