We want to live as long as we can. We want to have our lifespan expanded, not retracted,

because we are concerned about the length of life.

It would not be normal to prefer not to live out your fully ordained days. But while we are all concerned about the

length of life, we're also concerned about the quality of life. We want to live out our fully ordained

days but we would like to be healthy. We would like to have some vim and vigor and

vitality to our days. We don't want to retire in illness and dependency.

We would like to be as strong and as vibrant as life will allow so that we want life's length, but we also want life's quality.
