So there has been a school shooting at the Covenant School, which is a elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee.

Typically speaking, we don't come out on this podcast and immediately talk about an event, especially as details are still coming out.

However, we do think there's been enough in the press right now to where we can actually talk about this and hopefully talk about it effectively.

The bottom line is that there are a lot of issues to discuss with this with respect to why it happened, what the motivation was, as well as what do we do about issues like this within the United States.

Okay, let's jump into this. First things first, let's talk about the facts about what we know as far as what happened.

So essentially... first let's talk about the facts about what we know as far as what happened so essentially um

a shooter went into the covenant christian school which again is an elementary school in a

national tennessee and apparently with two ar style weapons and one pistol and proceeded to

open fire on students that she came across.

Police responded, confronted the shooter, and within about 15 minutes, the incident had concluded.

In that time, she had killed three students and three faculty members to include the head of the school.

Three of the children that were killed were nine years old.

The head of the school was Catherine Cones.

From what we can tell, the police responded fairly quickly and efficiently and immediately engaged with the shooter as soon as they came into contact with her.

The other thing that came out was obviously that she's transgender.

And this sparked a lot of controversy right off the bat initially by news outlets who apparently were upset with the initial reports for misgendering the shooter she was a biological female

that now identified as a male um and from what they can tell based off of writings that they found

within her car that they're still analyzing at this point, this might not have been the only target.

The police chief apparently said that a sense of resentment might have played a role in any 28-year-old's deadly attack on the private Christian school they once attended.
