Well, that's the question. The president doesn't know what's in the bill.

Legislators who voted for it don't know what's in the bill.

They couldn't wait for the Congressional Budget Office to do its analysis,

so we don't know how many millions of people it will deprive of health insurance,

how many thousands are likely to die as a result, or how many billions of dollars it'll add to the deficit.

But we've got some pretty good guesses, based on an earlier, somewhat different version of the bill that never came up for a vote.

My guess today says that Trump care suffers from a fundamental lack of purpose.

Democrats have a clear goal when it comes to healthcare. They want everybody to have health insurance.

Whereas Republicans want, well, it's hard to say what they want.
