But first, have you ever noticed how many mattress stores there are at a typical city or town?

Maybe you've noticed them placed oddly close together with mattress stores suspiciously clumped in particular

neighborhoods.

Well, a lot of people have noticed this, and in recent years there have been allegations

that mattress stores are part of a conspiracy or scam, that they're actually a front

for something else, and they're not principally

about selling mattresses.

One major mattress chain recently declared bankruptcy due to accounting fraud and kickback

schemes.

So is the mattress you sleep on every night something you unknowingly bought from a criminal

conspiracy?
