High Islanders, as promised I will give you the full tapes for those who want to listen to more of Marvin's so-called manifesto.

If you haven't listened to last episode, you still can listen to the tapes first and go back to it. Last

episode did have a big 30 minute chunk from this audio plus a few more other

bits. Now I want to answer a few questions. First off, this is not an episode. It's just an appendix to last episode and no I will not be changing the format of the show to include stacks and

stacks of audio clips but as I've done before I will when it's right I know that

that 30 minute bit was a pretty long clip to put in but I hope you got to

know Marvin a little better. Now I think most of you sympathize with Marvin and a few didn't but that's cool as he really did a lot of

damage to the town. Also he's got some strange views about God and how God built him to do this and all that sort of stuff.

That was a bit wacky, but that's how he did feel.

Now I think Marvin just needed a friend, it was someone that he could talk to rather than bottle up all this

rage and expel it upon the town of Granby.

Another thing, Marvin did buy that property at auction. He did set a sale price to his friend of $66,000.

Now, he did offer it to Cody at the time of sale for that $66,000 amount which you know that's fair enough

He did offer it to Cody several more times over the years at or below appraised value.

Now Cody refused to buy it and instead of that he bought the land around Marvin instead.

He then refused him access to water and sewer.

So you can imagine how this frustrated Marvin, and from what I can see from the research I did

Cody and his cohorts were just small town small-minded bunch of bullies. So sit back and relax. Here is Marvin's story told by him. The audio is a bit dodgy in places,

but it was recorded at his place on a cassette tape player if you know what that is.
