It is another beautiful day out there.

The summer is still with us, despite the fact that some people are trying to kill it off and say,

no, no, no, we're getting into September.

It'll be autumn soon.

I'm not going to have that same argument I have every single August, September,

which is the summer does actually indeed run into September, regardless

of what some of you may think. We've got lots to talk about this morning. John Renzhen's here

from the Independent. I'll be asking him what he makes of the final days, of course, of Boris Johnson

as Prime Minister, and what we will wake up to on Monday morning when we have a new Prime

Minister? Will it be, as the bookies would suggest to you, that it will be Liz Truss? Or will Rishi Sunak mount some kind of last-minute campaign? He's been out and about

with his suppliers and his supporters today telling everyone that this time Liz Truss told us how

she was going to solve the economic problems of this country. But of course, he only wants her to

do that so that he can say that her plans are absolutely rubbish

and his will be much better

because we still don't know

what his are either really, do we?

Meanwhile, we're being told

that schools might not be able to open

because they owe too much money already

and also they can't afford to heat buildings

and they have to leave the windows open
