You are now joining for the last time for the Mandalorian season 3.

That's right. It's the number one podcast in the galaxy for all things the Mandalorian. I'm your host Alex Maxwell and joining me as always is Mac lazy and as I alluded earlier.

This is kind of our final wrap up episode for season three of the Mandalorian Alex. It's been a crazy few weeks for us.

It really has. So like I feel like we really started preparing for the Mandalorian late January like we started getting everything into gear and then February was all our all our prep with the Mandalorian history 201 episodes are our interview with the armor Emily swallow before the show started.

And then we just jumped right in March 1st and we've been going a million miles per hour and this is it we've we've kind of made it to the finish line but the good thing is Mac is we're not actually finished we're just moving on to the next thing to kind of help us in between the Mandalorian and a soka that it premieres in August. What are we going to be doing in the meantime I mean we've got three months what are we going to do.

Well after on this episode we you know here's some final voicemails covering the Mandalorian season three we're going to kind of give our final you know season retrospective thoughts and opinions after we do all that we're going to turn our attention to Star Wars rebels with a soka coming up and kind of being on the horizon I can't think of a better you know existing Star Wars series to check back in on in preparation for that.

Everything we're seeing from the trailers everything has been built up in the other man over shows i think like Star Wars rebels I think is almost required viewing for everyone going into a soka you know yeah so I cannot wait to kick off our our rebels rewatch yeah it's going to be so much fun and I know a lot of people who've been contacting us on social media which on Twitter and Instagram is at cot watch you can contact us there interact with us.

And they've been telling me that they've already started the rewatch and they're loving it like people who have never been watching Star Wars rebels like they've never seen it our loving Star Wars rebels so if you've been on the fence about it you're like I don't know the animation side i'm not sure if I would enjoy it give it a try and I think you'll be surprised how much you really enjoy this because I think it captures the spirit of Star Wars.

So well I mean so well I think people are going to be blown away by just the storytelling that's in it especially as the as the story progresses you just get so wrapped up in everything that's going on and then like Max said it's going to have a huge impact on a soka soka is essentially season five of Star Wars rebels and so we want to make sure we're all prepared and I think this is a great way to do it and so.

Starting on May 17th you need to have watch episodes one through 11 of season one of Star Wars rebels and we're going to be covering those episodes we wish we could do a scene by scene breakdown of every single episode but they're 71 of them so.

That's not going to be possible we just don't have enough time so we're going to do episodes one through 11 on May 17th and then on May 24th we'll do 12 through 14 and we'll kind of use that model to.

Do the bulk of a season and one episode and then the next follow up episode we'll cover just the last few episodes because typically and we'll see this.

As we we dive into Star Wars rebels very similar structure to the Mandalorian where it's like you've got all this setup kind of in the beginning that's really good it doesn't mean it's bad right.

But at the end it's like man everything starts coming together so we want to spend a little more time on those final few episodes each season yeah especially just because that's where we're really going to have to be drawing those concrete connections to what we can expect in a so good and everything.

Yeah so i'm so excited to get started on rebels and you know i hope you guys will you know kind of come along with us keep you continue your your journey with children of the watch into the rebels rewatch yeah and if you're like okay well what about Clone Wars though like why aren't you guys going to cover like the essential clone war stuff well again we don't have enough time.

But I would encourage you to watch the mortis arc in season three of the clone wars I think that's going to be kind of important yeah for a soka and then also watch I would say the trial arc which is towards the end of season five we're soka basically doesn't she leave the Jedi order.

And then yeah i mean it's been a come on.

And then the siege of main lore episodes for the final season of Clone Wars I think if you're if you're just looking to get like where's a soka then I think those three things are going to be essential for soka there's so much more that I could get into but we just don't have the time to talk about it or break it down.

It's been getting better and better in my mind yeah further I get from it like it's been almost a week at this point and like I think I would have given it an eight.

On Wednesday and I think right now i'm giving it like a nine point three like it's getting better.

Yeah i'm have we spent some time apart from it yeah i definitely can can relate on that just as I especially since i've kind of shifted my focus to viewing.
