Sorretta is gone for this week but we were going to let that stop us from doing our usual

Mandalorian recap, review, speculation, all that good stuff.

So I'm here to talk about the new episode of the Mandalorian with our reliable Star Wars expert,

Brian Young. How you doing? Hey that that's me. Welcome. We're without

Peter but because we've been doing this for a while and you are the big chief Star Wars guy I think I think we can pull this off.

Yeah, no I think we can do it. I will miss Peter greatly but I'm sure he's having a fabulous time

somewhere. Exactly.

And we'll try to fill the void of all the questions that he asked so we can get all the information

out of you that we need.

And let's just get right into it and we'll start off by going through feedback from our last episode after the second episode of season three.

What did we hear from the people?

So the first thing we got was an email from Eric and Eric writes,

this week you guys drew the parallels to the Lord of the Rings and the Minds of Moria,

but I'm surprised you didn't mention this in episode two the way Mando got captured by that giant mex spider felt so similar to the way Frodo got captured by

she-lob, even a moment where it looked like he was stung and paralyzed and rendered helpless.

And yeah, me a copa I feel I feel awful about this one because I even had that in my

notes for my review and I forgot to put it in my review too yeah as, as soon as Peter sent us this, this feedback game,

I was like, oh, yeah, we're idiots for not mentioning it.

That makes perfect sense.

Yeah, and it's another really great tie in and it shows I think that influence of Lord of the Rings and I think it shows an influence of Dave Faloney who's a big Lord of the Rings fan, pretty up front and center there.
