prison population. Just so you know, because most people use this word incorrectly.

Learn this little phrase because you'll lose it.

You'll use it a lot, okay?

If someone gets arrested and they're brought down and they're booked and they're drunk,

they've had an accident, and they're not released, they're thrown in jail. That's the county lockup. That's jail. If they have a

trial in six months and they're sentenced to 10 years. They're not sentenced to 10 years in

jail. Remember jail is a relatively temporary place locally that the county operates.

That's jail.

Well, you do that and you'll be in jail tonight.

Nobody will be in prison tonight.

You'll only be in jail tonight

if you're walking the streets because they can't get you in

prison that fast but if you've committed a serious crime you go to trial or you plead out

and you're gonna do real time, they take you from the jail and they

transport you to, they transfer you to the prison.
