You know when I was growing up, it always seemed to me that achievement was a mystery.

I was never one of those people that just elevated to the top, rose to the top in any endeavor and anything I ever tried.

I was one of those people that knew what it felt like to be probably the worst person on the team.

But when I played football in high school, in my sophomore year, in Miami, Florida,

I was the 14th string wingback, which tells you how many wingbacks the team had.

We had 14, and I was number 14.

And I looked back and I realized I didn't even have the ability to move up to 13.

I finished as a 14th string wingback.

But then you would think, well, maybe it's just because you were at that time,

not an athlete, you were really an artist.

But I also played in the band. I played the socks. And I was the fourth chair.

And that's how many saxophone players we had. We had four sax players and I was always the fourth chair.
