I'm David Rind with the five things you need to know for Tuesday, June 9th.

It's another midterm primary day.

Voters are going to the polls in South Carolina, Nevada, North Dakota, but the main story is in

Maine.

That's where Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner will look to lock up the nomination

ahead of a general election against incumbent Republican Susan Collins.

Now, Platner doesn't have much serious competition, but all eyes will be on if he loses any support

in the wake of recent reporting about him sending sexually explicit messages to women who

weren't his wife and allegations of unsettling and in at least one case physically threatening

behavior towards former partners.

He has denied ever being physically intimidating with women, and he has also remained steadfast

that he was not aware a skull and crossbones tattoo he had on his chest was a Nazi symbol.

He has since covered it up.

CNN's Arlette's signs has been out in Maine talking to voters.

Arlette, what are they telling you?

Well, David, here in Portland, many of the Democratic primary voters that I spoke with said

that they're sticking behind Graham Platner, despite the controversies around his campaign.

Do any of the allegations make you uneasy at all?

I just want to beat Susan Collins and get her out of the Senate.

They said, yes, they're uneasy with these scandals, but they think Plattner still presents

the best opportunity to beat Senator Susan Collins.

I think he's changed, and I think he's a real person, and I'm proud of him for standing
