But proposing that like Britishness is aligned to England

Scotland is becoming forced to be seen as Glasgowian.

In the last 20 years, the Scottish stereotype has moved to junkies, deep-fried pizza, buckfast and good old sectarianism,

90% of which sits on the banks of the clite.

Next thing we know, square sausage will be an acceptable ingredient in stoves.

Which it is.

And just as the English waft their air of importance over the rest of the UK,

a Glasgowian with an opinion will always be the most self-important person in the room.
