0:21.8	to share with you all. You know, Deb and I received a beautiful story a couple of months ago from a listener about how she met her true love and we thought, wouldn't it be fun to make our February listener question and answer show all about love and
0:35.2	romance? And so we send out the request, everyone responded, and now we have some beautiful stories
0:42.3	that I really think do instill feelings of hope and just that tingly sensation we get when we contemplate romance and love and the joy and the surprise of recognizing your forever person.

0:59.2	Okay, I'm going to start us off with our first one.
1:01.4	In 2000, while in grad school I came upon the idea of online
1:06.2	dating. This was very early on after the debut of the internet. There were not even dating
1:11.5	websites at the time, at least none that I was aware of, just chat rooms.
1:15.0	I began searching dating post in my area because I was single and I found it kind of amusing
1:20.0	that you could find a man the same way you might order a handbag off the internet.
1:24.5	I responded one day to a rather lame post by a guy saying,
1:28.2	buddy, you really need to try harder if you want someone to respond to this. And that quirky remark was apparently all it took to get my future husband's attention.
1:37.0	We began emailing each other often, and one day we took it to the next step and spoke over the phone.
