0:56.8 | One was that the alchemists wanted to turn base metal, like lead, for example, into gold. |

1:30.0 | So according to the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Art of Alchemy was passed through centuries from Egypt and Arabia to Greece and Rome and then to Central and Western Europe. |
