On May 3, 2007, 3-year-old U citizen Madeline McCann went missing from the bed of her hotel room in Prior to Luge, Portugal.

Her parents, Kate and Jerry McCann, say they left the toddler with her two-year-old twin siblings, alone and unsupervised, while they dined at the resort's tapas bar with their friends. What happened to Madeline McCann has been subject for debate. It breaks up into

two main camps. Those that believe Madeline died by accident in 5A and those that believe the parents' narrative that Madeline was abducted

by a stranger. The Portugal police's investigation into the matter, also known as the PJ

files, has been public record since 2008. To speak with me about those files is Tom from the Facebook group 10 p.m. Prior De Luge.

Welcome Tom. Hi, Roberta. Thanks for having me back. You're welcome. So what are the PJ files and why are they

important? The PJ files is the name given to the Portuguese police case files from their investigation into the disappearance of Madeline McCann.

There's over 11,000 pages of evidence comprising of photos, forensics, etc. statements.

And when we go through the evidence today, what we'll see is that the evidence indicates beyond reasonable doubt that Madeline McCann was not abducted,

that her parents were untruthful to the Portuguese police in their statements about what happened

that evening and that what happened to Madeline was covered up.

And the PJ Files gives a very different narrative as to what happened at dinner at the tapas bar

before and after the alarm was sounded.

One tapis bar employee, Svetlana Vitronio's statement, gives a different picture of what happened

that night. Can you talk about that? Sure, yeah. So this is kind of the big find since we spoke

last August, I think it was. We found that she made a statement the day after Madeline was reported

missing by her parents. Just quickly to say what the parents say happened that night, they said

they went to the tapas bar at 8.30. The jury McCann checked on the children at 9 p.m. Then

Matthew O'Field checked on the children at 9.30. And then Kate McCann discovered Madeline missing at 10pm.

So Svetlanna's statement, which is very significant, she said that Jerry McCann left the table.
