and we should also lay down our lives for our brothers.

You know, if I were to say to you the phrase, life is hard, you'd probably agree with me and say,

yeah, man, life's been really hard, especially these last couple of years. I mean, with COVID and my job and health issues and maybe relational issues, you know, it's been really hard. And it's easy

for us to think of life being hard when we think of all that we've been through.

It's not as natural for us to think about, yeah, life has been really hard for other people.

In fact, even maybe even more difficult for them than it is for us.

And often we don't put ourselves in other people's shoes to think of the challenges that they're facing.

But it's so easy to just jump right into, man, I know it's been hard for me.

And when it comes to marriage, it's really important that I'm considering my wife's needs before my own.

That's what scripture says is one of the magic ingredients is to love my wife and consider her needs

and put them before my own.

And she's to do that with me.

If we both do that, then both of our needs are taken care of by someone who cares for us.
