Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello my friends, it's Sally Clarkson and we have made it through another day. Congratulations.

What an interesting time this is is we look on all the things that have happened in the past few weeks.

For those of you who are joining for the first time, I am Sally Clarkson. I am an author, a podcaster, a walker, a tea drinker, a dark salted chocolate with almonds,

lever, and a people lever and my children lever. I've got four adult kids, three live in the United Kingdom in Scotland and then getting their

PhDs and then in the south of England working as a pastor in an English speaking church. My daughter Sarah is their

married to Thomas from the Netherlands with two of my two my only two grandbabies. And then I have wonderful Nathan who's home with me.

And we're having so much fun. He and Kelia have been sequestered in New York City and just the tiniest little box you can imagine.

And they made it out and they still like each other, which is kind of amazing. I often think that any two sinful limited people of we all are in a 15 by 12 room for 10 weeks are always going to have interesting tensions, but they made it out and they're here and it's so much fun to have them here.

And it just is a real gift to have them here. And I hope to have two other kids coming home in the next few weeks. And so I'm going to have a full house.

But anyway, I just I just wanted to start out by saying I really, really, really, really, really, really think that I have the most wonderful community in the world.

I it brings me to tears a lot the past few days. I think of course, I've been saddened by what has been happening in the last 10 days in our country.

On many sides, I I have friends and every side of this issue, I'm even afraid to tell you all the sides because I might leave someone out and make you feel like I don't care about you.

But I have friends who have been devastated by difficult situations in their lifetime and in the black community.

I also have a lot of friends. You can imagine what tens of thousands of followers in my arena. I friends whose families and who themselves are either in the armed forces or they're in serving as policemen who are

wonderful kind believers and have had injustices done to them. And then I also know that in all of these areas, there are

self-centered angry people who have abused others over time. And I also know there are many wonderful people who have served others. And so if I miss out by saying the wrong thing or

by not covering all the bases, would you please forgive me because mainly my heart is to love and to understand and to listen to

and to find the context for where you're coming from. And so as I look at my audience, I've had a course. You know, I've been serving the Lord for many years for 46 years. I've been in full-time Christian work. Can you believe that?
