That fatigue you're wearing is heavy, but my burden is light.

This morning sun has a particular quality to it, a pink hue to it, an orange to it.

It's bright, but it's soft. It's approachable.

Close that body's eyes and become aware of that same quality of light in your heart. It's not a burning bright light.

It's a softly illuminating one.

A gently warming one, evaporating the dew, the thoughts.

Clearing your eyes, open them.

Everywhere you look, that sunshine already is, it meets you there.

Your work today is to become aware of the light before you're aware of the tree

or that person or that lamp or the phone.

You notice the light first.

You see the light first. You see the light first.

An easy way to keep the light first, to be the light first,

is to keep the holy name going round and round in the head,

in the heart, in the soul.

You hear that as you look.

And in this way, everywhere you look, you're worshipping, you're honoring, you're bowing to

the light that you are, but over there, appearing as them.

You can try this on someone you don't particularly like.

You can try it on yourself the next time you walk past a mirror.

Keep the name going round and around like a prayer wheel while you see that reflection.
