Summary

Early results from the local elections are coming in. The Conservatives were expected to perform badly, and Labour to make gains, and that's certainly happened. But, if Labour were to replicate these results in a general election, would they win? And are the Liberal Democrats the ones really doing well?

Max Jeffery speaks to Katy Balls and Isabel Hardman.

1:22.4

which were their key targets.

1:24.4

So, I think on some of those local issues, if you look at Plymouth, for example, the Trees,

1:30.0

but those were their target councils.

1:33.6

And then on the other, you had the Liberal Democrats, I think, doing better than some expected them to.
