Chelsea Schilling tried to get away from her abusive boyfriend, even quitting her job and changing

her appearance, but it didn't work.

Somehow, she was back in contact with him, and in November of 2016, she tried to get away

for the last time.

This is Monsters. Bronson Ellery was born on April 23, 1992, and grew up in the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Not much is known about his childhood, but when he was a teenager, it said that he

became interested in conspiracy theories. He began getting tattoos in his early teens,

and his sister would later say that his parents were unhappy with the amount of tattoos he had.

But as he started getting into trouble, he would only get more while he did short stints in jail.

One of those tattoos was a swastika, but his lawyer would later claim that he didn't believe in Nazism.

He just got the tattoos for shock value.

Of course, the most shock he elicited was the fact that he eventually had his entire face covered in tattoos. Those

tattoos gave him a reptilian look and the local police began referring to him as the lizard man.

His unique appearance wasn't his only challenge. Bronson's ties to the Gold Coast's criminal

underworld pushed him further to the edges of society.

He joined a biker gang that was an offshoot of the Bandito's Biker Gang.

His involvement in the crimes committed with the gang were what kept him in and out of jail

for years. He lost access to normal support systems and lived in a world where destructive behavior

went unchecked.

On top of that, the gang said that he would never succeed in crime because his tattoos

meant he would always be easily identifiable.
