I don't know, there was just something, and maybe I just, I kept trying looking at pictures back from 1990, and it felt like the light was different than it is now.

Probably because it was so much smogier.

And, you know, we didn't want to see Man's Chinese or Muso and Frank or Hull or the Griffith Observatory.

We went to places that were absolutely L.A., but L.A. we hadn't seen.

The investigation uncovers disturbing secrets from Deakin's past that could threaten more than the case.

In addition to The Little Things, Mr. Hancock's directorial credits include the feature films The Highwaymen, the founder, Saving Mr. Banks, and The Blindside.

Mr. Hancock spoke with director Karen Kusama about filming The Little Things in front of a virtual audience.
