It is Saturday, October 4th, three days and 12 hours into the government shutdown.

2025 is a blueprint for enacting an ultra-conservative agenda. It was built by the prominent conservative

think tank, the Heritage Foundation, which has been putting together policy plans like this one for

Republican administrations since the 1980s. Project 2025 was put together after Donald Trump

lost the 2020 race in the likelihood that he could return to the White House and be president in

2025, which he is. But Project 2025 was toxic to Trump's presidential bid last year,

and for much of the campaign, he tried really, really, really hard to distance himself from it.
