So one of the reasons I wanted you to do this intro with me is because you're really fun to talk to.

The second reason is because you actually introduced me to the writings of this week's guest, Joe Posnansky.

I'm intensely jealous that you got to interview Joe because I have been a major fan of his for at least 10 years.

Like, when I was thinking, when did I first start reading Joe Pisnansky?

I honestly don't remember.

I mean, he's a very prominent sports writer.

Most people would probably have known him from his work with Sports Illustrated.

But he's had a very active blog going back at least, I would say, seven to 10 years.

And he's an incredible writer. He's very funny. He has this unpretentious wonderment about the

subjects he studies, and lots of it's sports, baseball, football, tennis, golf, but he's also delved into

a lot of other non-sports and a lot of biographies.

And he's just, he's a great read.

He's a really, really wonderful writer.

One of the reasons I wanted to have him on this show is because what he's worked on most

recently really touches at the relationship that we humans have

with the truth. And whether we really want to know the truth or whether there's something

magical about being hoodwinked. Well, I mean, that's exactly true. You can imagine coming out

of his coverage of the sports world, primarily the professional sports world,
