Hey everybody welcome back to Cole Case Murder Mysteries. I'm your host Ryan Kraus

coming at you once again for part two of the Lewis Clark Valley murders.

In this episode, we'll focus on the mysterious disappearance of University of Idaho Senior,

Kristen David, who vanished during a bike ride from Moscow to Lewiston.

On June 25, 1981, around 11 p.m.

Kristen, an ambitious dual major in broadcast journalism and political science, called

her mother Sally to say she was going to bike from Moscow, Idaho to Lewiston the next morning, and planned to leave around 10 or 11 a.m.

Kristen just had her bike painted in Moscow and was going to ride it back to the Lewiston

Clarkston Valley with her ultimate destination

being the Twin City Foods Plant

where she was due to work a shift.

That was her summer job.

Kristen was also employed during the school year at Circle K,

a convenience store where she worked the graveyard shift,

and the Capricorn bar where she was a waitress. I don't believe Circle K is in Moscow any longer these

days as they began removing underperforming stores from the area in the early 1990s. The Capricorn Bar, which was one of those

legendary college favorites, fell victim to a fire in 1998 and was

subsequently replaced by one of those lodges where old men wear

elkats tell war stories and drink Corps banquet beer.

The Twin City Foods plant, where Kristen worked during the summer, has also closed since that time.

It was located at 101B Loop at the south end of Lewiston.
