John Siegley here with Mike Ingersoll and E.J. Wilson going to be recapping the 2018 season, getting our final thoughts on that, and then putting it away in the books, hopefully never to see again because, yeah, the highlight list is pretty short for last season.

Yeah, so let's just go ahead and start there.

Mike, you know, in your summation briefly here, how would you describe the 2018 season and what is going to be your memory of it aside from the

coaching change because that's obviously the biggest thing so I'm not going to let you cheat and

select that well it's a disappointment and I don't really know there's much there's much

else to talk about with it.

But there's always good you can take out of bad.

There's always bad that you can take out of good.

And some of the good you can take out of the 2018 season is that number one,

we've got a preview of our quarterback situation,

which depending on recruiting and if we're able to flip Sam Howell here

out of Sun Valley High School here in Indian Trail in the Charlotte area, if we're able to flip

him from FSU back to, you know, back to Chapel Hill and keep him in state, you know,

that only strengthens that quarterback room.

But I think we've already got two really strong quarterbacks sitting in that room right now in Cade Fortin and Jace Ruter.

And we were able to get a preview of those kids as 18, 19 year old freshmen and what they

were able to do, which was encouraging because they both played when they were, when they were

in the game when they were asked to play, considering the fact they're true freshmen,
