Welcome to Karen Hunter is awesome. I am Karen Hunter, and I believe it is everyone's

responsibility to know the truth about things. So there was a clip that went viral with the

current president of the United States

talking about how great America is because Americans invented everything. And while that is actually

not true, what he was saying was also not true. So I wanted to bring the truth to these airwaves

and codified forever. Okay. so that no one's mistaken.

From the telephone to the telegraph to cellular phones to GPS, I'm going to break down

how these things came to be.

And it was never just one person.

Inventions never happened singularly. Most inventions are in collaboration.

It's usually a group of people getting together banging against one another. This is the beauty of

life. Okay. And anyone that wants to just take credit is probably not a good person anyway. Okay.

This show, this, the Karen Hunter is awesome,

is a collective of all of the different smiths is working on some things. I'm having ideas.

Somebody's calling me. Somebody sends me an email. I'm inspired. It doesn't happen in a vacuum.

Nothing does. We are here on this planet with seven, eight billion other people

for a reason. And I love that. So stay tuned for how things actually did get invented.
