Curve podcast. And joining me is my co-host, Alicia Searcy. Alicia, what's up? Albert, how are you

all as well here? I'm happy to say that in Atlanta, there's no snow.

Yeah, no snow here in Arkansas, but I've been enjoying some pictures from family who live up in the northeast.

I don't know, Alicia.

I got to say maybe I'm a bit envious to have a little, you know, I mean, this is something about the snow, even if you get 20

inches.

Oh, really?

Well, listen, that is very sweet of you to imagine and think of that.

I would much rather be thinking about what should be sunny Florida, but even Florida is cold,

I'm hearing.

I'm more of a, you know, sunshine and beach kind of girl, but I agree that these pictures of snow and

mountains and all that is absolutely beautiful. And I hope they really enjoy that.

Well, there's our weather report for the week. Let's move on to our education news segment,

shall we? We shall. We shall. All right. Well, hey, well, so what did you find in the news this

week, Alicia? So this one was fun for me. It's an article about school choice, public school choice, in particular, which personally and publicly, that is my stance, although I understand all kinds of choice and want parents to have options.

Public school choice is kind of my thing. And so this article from Education Next, many families choose

public schools other than their assigned ones. And so in this, you know, national conversation

that we're having and we're even having a guest today talking about private school choice in Florida,

we are also having conversations about public school choice. And so this is an analysis of 27 states in

Washington, D.C. that are showing open enrollment is increasingly an attractive public school choice.

And so I like that for a couple of reasons. But I will also say, I'm not pleased that Georgia
