Summary
When his parents were newly married, they moved into a small two-bedroom house that seemed perfectly ordinary. Until his mother began waking up to someone standing at the foot of the bed. She described him clearly. The headdress. The posture. The laughter.
Her husband saw nothing. He tried to reassure her, even stood where she insisted the figure was — waving his hands through empty air.
