The longest Psalm in the Bible is Psalm 119.

It has been called the Psalm of the Scriptures because it concentrates on one thing,

humility, when you lose the heart of the student, when you lose the willingness to be instructed,

then my friend, you have lost the secret of spiritual growth. We've come today, finally, to the final

verse in Psalm 119.

What a great time we've had walking through this portion of the Bible.

The longest Psalm, the Psalm of the Scriptures,

the Psalm that reminds us of the sufficiency of God's Word, it is all we need.

And I've just been a little puzzled, I must tell you, by how it ends.

And yet we know God does all things well.

There's a reason for it. But verse 176 really brings us to a place of humility again. Instead of

lifting us to the heights and into the heavens, listen to Psalm 119-176. The psalma says,

I have gone astray like a lost sheep.

Seek thy servant, for I do not forget by commandments.

This is a profound verse and a powerful ending to an amazing Psalm.
