Summary

The Lakers rolled into Orlando having lost three straight. Thankfully, the Magic are a good cure for what might ail any team, and aside from a wretched second quarter, the Lakers were in control. Anthony Davis had his best game since returning from injury, and Montrezl Harrell, back in the lineup after a DNP-CD Saturday in Dallas, had his best game in a while. Unfortunately, Alex Caruso left the game with back spasms, another log on the long list of injuries and interruptions L.A. has faced. So how much might a lack of continuity hurt them in the postseason? HOSTS: Andy and Brian Kamenetzky SEGMENT 1: Lakers 114, Magic 103. A.D.'s mid-range game was rolling, and the defense (save that "disgusting" second quarter, to use a word mom loves) was high end. In a way, that game contained everything making Lakers fans excited and nervous about the team's playoff prospects. SEGMENT 2: Harrell bounced back big on Monday. Why? Does it mean a return to early season form is coming? SEGMENT 3: How much will a lack of continuity hurt the Lakers? On the one hand, they're losing out on a ton of reps, primarily because of injuries to LeBron James and Davis. That matters, a lot. On the other, there are some silver linings.
