Summary

As a skeptic, William never believed in ghosts or the paranormal until he purchased his current residence 18 years ago. His first experience was when he drove by the house with a friend, who said, “It’s a lovely house, but who's the old lady in the bay window?” William saw no one. But his friend saw her – and several other people have seen her since.

In his new book, 'The Lady in the Bay Window: The True Story of a Haunted Sheffield Home," William shares his experiences living in a very haunted home. In the book, he shares 25 stories of paranormal activity that happened in his house - from sightings of apparitions to strange footsteps, voices, and poltergeist activity. To help explain the strange occurrences, he brought in a paranormal investigation crew and a local spiritualist medium who came highly recommended. Together, they attempted to unravel the mystery of William's haunted home. After 18 years of living with paranormal activity, William still thinks of himself as a skeptic – however, now, he says he’s a “skeptic with an open mind.”
