If you have his word and I hope you do let me invite you to open with me to Matthew chapter 21 Chapter 21. We have sung about his majesty tonight. I want to show you his majesty. Last night in our family worship time we were reading the

story from Genesis 3 of Adam and Eve's fall in the garden and God's promise at that moment as soon as

sent entered the world to send a Savior who would crush the Serpent, we were praying,

Caleb prayed.

God, thank you for sending your son to crush the snake

to save us from our sin. It's what all creation was longing for. What really we've

been longing for ever since we got to Matthew chapter one at the beginning of December.

We have journeyed from the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem with him to Egypt, then to Nazareth, then to start his

ministry in Galilee to Campurnium, conesorate, Gentile areas like Tyre and Seidon,

Cessary of Philippi, Jericho, Judea, Judea,

we've been all of these places and now we come to Matthew 21 which is the beginning of the end.

The first time in the book of Matthew that we see Jesus enter into Jerusalem.

And in a matter of about eight days, starting in Matthew, chapter 21, he will enter the city, cleanse a temple,

confront religious leaders, be arrested, tried, crucified, and raised from the dead.
