If you remember from the previous episode, we have Dan Markell shot in the head in his garage at his home.

We have two assassins who fled in a Prius, who seemingly were hired by a girlfriend of the brother of Wendy.

Kind of convoluted, but this is where we're at. Yeah, and it's a,

it's a terrible crime. A lot of people didn't see this coming, and a lot of people didn't see where

this was going either. But that's where the trial with these arrests, the charges, will start

to clear the air. Now, it took years for these arrests in 2016 to result in trials.

Garcia's defense team filed multiple requests to delay the trial for different reasons,

and Dan's family became frustrated with the drawn-out process.

It had been five years since Dan was murdered, and they still hadn't received justice.

But on September 13, 2019, a joint trial

for Garcia and Katie began, all evidence was presented to the jury, and Rivera's testimony was

vital. He testified that Katie was the connection between the Adelson's, himself, and Garcia.

And we even have Wendy Adelson take the stand and testify under a limited

immunity deal, meaning her words on the stand could not be used against her later. However,
