privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

Hello my friends, this is Sally Clarkson and I am sitting here in my little office. I just

had the most wonderful dark cherries, mango, raspberries, blueberries and usually I have

my dark salted pecans with it. But anyway, I have had a great hour. I took a nap before

that. It's one of those days where I'm trying so hard to catch up. I was going to write

part of my book today, my new book on education, which comes out next August, I hope, because

I've been having lots of great thoughts about it. All of us, education really is the process

of being taught and learning about so many things. It's funny that in most of our lives,

we think of education as grades and levels of study like for a second, third, fourth, fifth

grade, or we think of it as what you know, how you do, how you compare to everyone else.

The more I have been thinking about education, the more I have realized that I ran away from all

that I'd ever learned about public education because I was bored and I didn't feel like it taught

me a whole lot. But I did learn that in doing it differently with my children. I kind of totally

throughout everything I learned before and approached it with them in a whole different way.

And so many of you have asked me, how did I do it? What did I think? And anyway, I've been thinking

about that a lot today. I meant to go away by myself and write for several hours on the book.

And as it happens, I had a continuous stream of calls, emails, comments, requests, people calling

me children calling me publishers calling me. And I literally spent four hours and never got to

write a single word. So I decided to come home and have a nap and eat my fruit. We all have days
