Can it really be only two weeks since those elections?

The elections in which Nicholas Durgeon and the SMP emerged triumph at again.

The elections which seemed as if they were produce an instant confrontation between her

and Boris Johnson over the future of the Union and another referendum on independence.

It's gone awfully quiet, hasn't it?

That's because it doesn't suit both sides to bring this to a head now.

The polls are simply too close for either side to risk moving to an instant referendum.

Either the SMP trying to capitalize on their success or Boris Johnson hoping to get a quick

referendum in in the hope that the SMP lose.

Here in a process of waiting and watching and preparing, which is why this week's reshuffle

of Nicholas Durgeon's top team was so significant because she has brought around her to the cabinet

table the figures who will have to now find the answers to the questions that Durgeon

knows lost that referendum in 2014.

What will be your currency and when will it change?

How will the border with England work?

How on earth will trade not disappear if Scotland is in one economic system and England

is in another?
