Spare a thought for Theresa May as you listen to this.

The Prime Minister appears to be heading for certain defeat.

If, as she promises, she does put her deal to the vote on Tuesday.

She and her advisers always knew this would be difficult.

She's got no parliamentary majority after all.

But they worked out if they could minimise the Tory rebellion and maximise the number of people

on Labour's benches who voted with her, all would be fine.

But I'm beginning to wonder if she was thinking about politics in entirely the wrong way.

Parliament no longer seems to be defined by a Tory and a Labour party.

It is defined, instead, increasingly by the remain party and the leave party.

And she is increasingly leading the straddling the difference party.

And as many Liberal Democrats will tell you,

it's not a terribly comfortable place to be.

No wonder she's finding it quite so difficult to get her message across.

But actually there are three options here.

As we go ahead, there are three options.

One is to leave the European Union with a deal.

The other two are that we leave without a deal.

Or that we have no Brexit at all.

And I'm absolutely thinking of.
