It was fun getting away.

It was fun spending time with my parents,

saw a couple of our sons,

four of our grandchildren,

spent time with colleagues at the radio station where I used to work as an employee.

Now I work as a consultant.

It's a pretty intense week and I'll get into that in just a bit.

But it was so good to arrive home, so great to see Eva, so great to be back in our home, our community, our neighborhood.

Here's what was not so great. I had totally forgotten about this until I got home and then saw all the green pollen everywhere.

We're in the thick of it.

Anyhow, I've talked about that. I'm not going to whine about it,

but I had forgotten about it for a week.

And it's like, oh yeah, there's that.

And even though he is undergoing some experimental treatment, he's very candid and up front

and says his life expectancy is measured in months.
