In our world, there is so much sorrow, misery, and sadness.

We see indicators all around us that reveal to us that most people are looking for something,

anything, that can bring them true joy. In this study on joy,

Scott Pauley will take us to God's Word and help us discover the source of true, lasting joy.

And as we study the Bible together, we will find that God's joy is readily available to us

through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The psalmist said,

Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.

And I want to say amen to that. There is no joy quite like the joy of

God's people being of one mind, not at each other, but pulling for each other and moving forward together.

And the converse of that is also true. Behold how miserable, how awful it is when brethren do not dwell together

in unity. I want to remind you that sin is what divides and that Satan is the great divider and that our

sin nature is the root cause of war and argument and every ugly thing.

But the Lord is always seeking to bring us to a place of oneness,

not just with each other, but ultimately with him.

I'm not talking.

I'm not talking about putting away truth and can't we all just get along.

And no, that's not what I'm talking about

I'm talking about unity in Christ one in Christ that's the Lord's way people ask me sometimes

how do you get all these people to agree with each other the answer is you don't you get them

to agree with the Lord let Let's see what the Lord

says. Let's all agree with him. That is where the joy of unity is found. And so we return to
