Actually, it was only 13 months after I did my first deal, I walked away from the

government pension, I walked away from the job security of having a government job,

and I went full-time into real estate investing and started building out my own thing, and

this is only five years ago and today I got about 80 million dollars of

real estate, boutique hotels, apartment buildings and short-term rentals and we

got a cool company, Podcast Studio here and we self-manage.

We've got a couple companies and we're rock and rolling dude and now, you know, I feel like I'm just getting warmed up man.

I'm 38 at 33 dude when I started I was like I was kind of like plateaued and I felt like I wasn't growing and now at 38 dude I feel like I'm younger than I've ever been I feel healthier than I've ever been I'm locked in'm focused, I feel like I'm just getting warmed up right now.

Diego, man, and it's a blast. I'm curious, you know, what may just settle on San Diego out of all the different places to live and run your office because we're sitting here in your studio. It's beautiful. Your full team is here in person. Why is San Diego and what made you choose to kind of go the opposite of remote work and keep everybody here in the office?
