up on the roof, written by mediocre new 1376. It has been 1.5 years since I finished my med school. My university was in an area that was far, far away from the main city.

Even going to the university hospital was a hassle, as it took around 1.5 hours to get there. I stayed in a

hostile at the edge of the university campus. Two miles behind it was an orphanage

and a school next to that.

Since the rooms were shared and I liked to study alone,

I would go to the roof of the hostel and study there.

One day during my second year, I was sitting up there

preparing for a big exam.

All of a sudden I heard what sounded like 30 to 40 children crying.

Naturally, I assumed the voices were coming from the orphanage, But these cries were very clear and distinct. It was as if they were right next to the hostile. I came back down from the roof, told my friends about it. They both told me I was imagining things. To be honest, I wouldn't blame them. I didn't sound like I was scared or concerned. I just want to let them know I heard it.

Two days later, I went up to the roof again. I heard the same cries.

When I came back down, I had no intention to telling my friends about it this time.

To my surprise, they heard the children crying too. I try to find out if anyone else had

heard the cries no one but us. We never heard it again. I still like rooftops

though. Oh right who doesn't like a rooftop? I like rooftops. Welcome to
