We had Freddie Escobar, the president of the United Firefighters of L.A.

And we go through this unbelievable story of Karen Bass allowing the homeless encampment

to fester in the Sepulveda Basin in that beautiful park there next to a baseball field.

And the homeless started a fire. And 11 firefighters got injured because things started blowing up.

He said it seems maybe shards of a propane tank and almost ripped the entire ear off one of the firemen.

Pretty severe injury he suffered.

We're going to talk with Phil Brock in just a moment, the mayor of Santa Monica. And I want you not only to listen to our discussion coming up here in a second,

but also I'm going to go extensively into the background of Jawan Dwayne Garnett.

He's the guy who attacked three women Monday morning, a 17-year-old,

striking her and strangling her, 25-year-old was punched, her ear was bitten, and then a third woman who, in her 70s, pulled into the ocean, held underwater. He tried to drown her.

This all happened, boom, boom, boom, just like that. Turns out the Santa Monica Police Department had arrested Garnett on June 9th for failing to register as a sex offender. While in custody,

he was registered and then released with a promise to appear in court. Wait to you hear about

his background. Gascon is involved in this. It's all heinous. It's all terrible.

And I send my sympathies to the firefighters who were injured in the subpova basin. That's horrible.

Yeah, it is, it is really horrible. And Carried Bass is failing to remove these encampments from the public parks. And I got to say,

the city of Santa Monica, and you're the mayor, you are failing to remove the homeless people

from a lot of public places, including the beaches. And I'm in that area twice a week.
