Sometime, not too far down the road, we're going to find out if a particular proposition will be on the ballot in November.

This one will greatly revise Prop 47.

This will start making retail theft a crime again.

It'll make drug possession and use a crime again, but you'll have the option to go to treatment to get out of trouble.

And it'll also finally criminalize fentanyl to a greater extent.

And these are things that have to be done.

Much of this came from, you know, much of the trouble goes back to Prop 47.

It does.

Because letting people out of prison and you stopped arresting

people for theft. It led to so much, you know, they call it low level crime, but it's actually

the crime that impacts your life the most. It doesn't really matter if gang bangers are killing each other on the other side of town.

But it matters if your grocery store and the drugstores and the shopping malls are constantly

getting looted.

And then some of them have to close.

Or you feel scared walking into a jewelry store.

You feel scared sitting outdoors at a restaurant.

You can't wear a watch.

Can't wear a necklace.

Toothpaces locked up.

Toothpaces locked up at some drugstores.
