Todd Spitzer coming on, the Orange County District Attorney, a real district attorney who puts

people in jail.

You don't run across those kinds anymore.

And they cracked a case, 34 break-ins across Orange County, half million dollars in

weapons, valuables, and cash stolen, 20 people charged, five juveniles, and major ties to

L.A. gangs. So let's get Todd on to talk about this novelty of prosecuting criminals. Todd, how

are you? Yeah, I'm great. So let's talk about whether it's novel. You know, today I opened up

the Orange County Register, Sheriff Don Barnes and I did this press event yesterday, John,

where we talked about the arrest of 20 individuals, five juvies, in about 34 residential burgs,

and now we filed criminal charges against all the adults.

But of course, the juveniles get transferred to L.A.

I'm not sure if everybody knows that, John.

Under California law today, even if a juvenile commits a crime in Orange County, they get to get shipped back to the county in which they reside under some theory that, you know, their parents are going to be involved in their rehabilitation.

So, right.
