Just five minutes ago at 201 Pacific time, the New York Times is now weighed in with a story similar to what Carl Bernstein said on CNN last night.

This one's entitled Biden's lapses are said to be increasingly common and worrisome.

Wow.

All of a sudden, today, the New York Times has discovered that Biden's brain is fried.

People have spent time with Biden over the last few months, said the lapses appear to have grown more frequent, more pronounced,

and after Thursday's debate, more worrisome. Literally five minutes ago, they released this

story. In the weeks and months before Biden's politically devastating performance on the debate stage,

several current and former officials and others who encountered him behind closed doors,

noticed they'd increasingly appeared confused or listless or would lose the thread of conversations.

The uncomfortable occurrences were not predictable, seemed more likely when he was in a large crowd or tired

after a particularly bruising schedule.

The, they talk about he went across the Atlantic Ocean twice to meet with foreign leaders

and flew from Italy to California for a fundraiser and then had to go to Camp David for debate rehearsals

and he was getting drained. And then they went through all the, well, we saw June 10th. That

was the Juneteenth holiday celebration where he froze, he went stiff while everybody else

was swaying and clapping to the music.

On June 18th, he couldn't remember the name of his Homeland Security Secretary,

Majorcas, at an immigration event.

And it went on long enough that it unnerved some of his allies who traded alarmed looks

and described themselves as shaken up.
